Pairing

On the Mac, open Settings → Remote control, enable the relay, then create and scan an owner QR code from the mobile app.

Mac appears offline

Confirm Remote is enabled on the Mac, both devices can reach the internet, and the paired device has not been revoked.

An action is unavailable

Your mobile role, the Mac’s local allowlist, required macOS permission, and action risk must all permit it. The Mac always has final authority.

Reset access

Reset Remote on the Mac to revoke every paired device. You will need to pair again with a new one-time QR code.

Report a problem

Open a GitHub issue with your MacScope version, mobile platform and version, and the visible error message. Do not include pairing QR codes, access tokens, private paths, clipboard content, or personal telemetry.
